Hello and welcome to my blog; a documentary of a year’s experience as a student gardener at the Tresco Abbey Garden in the Isles of Scilly. I am one of three students to be granted the Elizabeth Hess Scholarship, an annual award funded by the Studley College Trust, which allows students to spend a year working and learning in the garden. Each month I will post an account of work that I’ve been doing, along with pictures and information about plants that I have been working with and other garden highlights through the seasons.
